Sue Gill Rose, originally from Texas, is an accomplished artist and educator with a rich background in art. After early encouragement from her mother, she studied painting at the Dallas Museum of Art and continued her education under prominent artists at Southern Methodist University. Following a varied career, including work in New York and raising four children, Sue returned to academia to earn her Master's Degree in Liberal Arts. This pivotal moment reignited her passion for art, leading her to explore naive and primitive styles while embracing the joy and humor in everyday life. Now based in Seattle, she is an active member of several art organizations, focusing on vibrant, meaningful expressions through her work.
