Mona is a dedicated advocate for arts education with 25 years of experience teaching at Edmonds Elementary Schools. As one of the original members who started the Studio Tour, she has actively contributed to the arts community by participating in Art on The Fence ten times, supporting local Art Walks, and showcasing her work in various Edmonds businesses. A mural artist and children's art judge, Mona is passionate about integrating arts into core curricula, particularly through themes of native plants and animals. Through her collaborations with teachers, she fosters creativity and engagement in young learners.
