Jay Marsh is an illustrator and ceramicist from Washington state. After receiving a BFA in Illustration at Art Center College of Design, he moved back to the PNW where he feels at home among the trees and nature. Upon returning, ceramics captured his heart and he has been creating at various studios since 2023. Much of his work combines nature, bright colors and some of his favorite animals such as birds and banana slugs. Pieces range from practical to silly! When teaching, he enjoys watching students be creative in ways professional artists may not even dare to be.
